Artist Description

Mayfield's finest organic alternative rock band, CASTRO! have only been gigging in Newcastle for six months, and have already played all the main venues, including a headline slot at Autonomy Day '05 to a huge crowd.

The lads love to play and deliver a tight set of post-grunge, organic rock, with fat riffs and grooving bass mixed with driving percussion and effects-drenched soundscapes, top off with vocals that are both raw and angsty. The boys have recently released 'Greatest Hits 2005-2005', a compilation of their earlier sampler discs.
