Artist Description

Newcastle based three piece folk rock band ezel are here. Story and emotion based songs born first of the pen are brought to dynamic life in a way difficult to describe. Inklings of Jeff Buckley, Live, Queen, Tool, Tea Party, and Cat Stevens surface and then disappear as the plot grows.

ezel write songs which stay with you. They define parts of life in ways far from cliché, poetic and sing them deep into your soul. A theatrical jazz. A rock opera.

ezel won the Mayfield Winter Band Comp in 2003 and made it to the Semi's in the Cambridge Band challenge.
